Incredible! I had the jerk salmon with spinach and rice & peas ($23). Absolutely delicious. Well presented. Scrumptious. Seriously. Signed a half-Jamaican Brooklynite so my taste buds are primed! lol. Really great. Highly recommend.

No complaints. Love that they have a scotch bonnet sauce for us who like it spicy! They are friendly and establishment is very clean. Plenty of seating

[ Update - 10/5/24 We ordered an oxtail dinner again today and dined in. Nice improvement on the presentation of the food served and the waitstaff ( Scott) was really great! The food was delicious!!] We ordered the Oxtail dinner, which consisted of oxtails, cabbage, rice n peas, and plantains. Very tasty. A little pricey but we all know the price of oxtails now. Plantains were not ripe but they don't have control over that. My hubby got the Curried Goat and said the gravy was good, curry was authentic & the meat was nice & tender. A little more peas in the rice and it would be spot on! Appears to be counteer service only. They had a steady take-out business. Overall, our rating would be an 8! Nice seating, clean pace with good music!

Always love to come into Island Cuisine. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile by GG at the register. When I crave Jamaican food and missing traveling there, the stew peas, oxtails and BBQ never disappoint! And they make fresh black cake!

The food was good. The Mac n cheese was a little pricey, but was a nice serving. I wish they gave more cabbage as well. I had the brown stew chicken. The Chicken was good, but it needed more filling.

Food and service were excellent. I got the Curry Goat and Oxtail Combo with Rice and Beans, Plantain and Cabbage. Gigi was very helpful and was very attentive. If I am ever in town, I will definitely visit again.

Ordered takeout but clean and spacious atmosphere. Oxtails and fried okra were plentiful and fantastic, mac n cheese just needed a little seasoning.
